New: Compendium of Hygiene Promotion in Emergencies
The Compendium of Hygiene Promotion in Emergencies and its corresponding online platform has been officially launched at the World Water Forum in Dakar, Senegal, on 23 March 2022. It provides an overview of the current state of best practices and research for hygiene promotion with a focus on humanitarian settings.
The Compendium has been collaboratively developed by Global WASH Cluster partners coordinated by the German WASH network, financially supported by the German Federal Foreign Office and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. More than 50 authors and contributors from a wide range of international WASH organisations and institutions have given their input.
Miriam Harter and Max Friedrich contributed to the chapter on Social and Behaviour Change and were part of the compendium’s core authors team.
